What is a Minneola???

I went to Trader Joe's to buy naval oranges, when I saw the label minneolas under what I thought were oranges. Hmmmm...What are minneolas? I bought one and ate it in the car. It peeled more easily than an orange, and it tasted a lot like a mandarin or tangerine; it's in the tangelo family. Mine was seedless. I wonder if all minneolas are. The name minneola reminded me of the professional boxer Manny Pacquiao, and they both pack a punch. I recommend adding this juicy fruit to your food repertoire, if you see them at your local market.
